About me.

Content

Early days
I was born in Cannes, France in 1990. I speak French natively and learned Finnish from my mother. I have always wanted to work in IT, just like my dad.

Education
I studied at the CIV (Centre International de Valbonne), an international middle and high school located in the European Silicon Valley: Sophia Antipolis.

Higher Education
I always knew I wanted to study Computer Science, and the best place on Earth to do it is the United States. I already learned to speak English fluently for roughly 10 years so it led me to apply to universities in the US. I ended up enrolling in the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, located in the greater Boston area.

My first serious software
In 2005 I designed a program in Visual Basic .NET called PC Access. It allowed customers to set daily time quotas for the users of a given computer. The goal was to allow parents to limit their children's usage of the family computer.

My work as a consultant
I started work as a consultant by helping anyone in need with their computer's hardware and software. This went from ordering new computer parts and installing them to learning how to use Microsoft Office.
I have continued doing freelance work, first for PACTA located in Cannes. I started from redesigning the home page and after a while, I ended up re-coding most of the website and implementing new tools for creating XML ebooks.
While in Hong Kong for a University Project, I met Brant Knutzen who allowed me to work for Lingnan University and produce open-source code for Moodle. Check-out my Moodle projects here.

My startup, Studifi
I created Studifi in March 2010, the goal was to help students connect on campus on an academic level. The idea evolved to allowing students to find teammates and eventually collaborate online.

Activities
I usually like coding for fun, I have built computers from the ground up but mostly I love cooking. I created a food blog in collaboration with Alex Kuang.

Flying
I'm a student pilot at the Worcester Regional Flight Academy, just about to get my Private Pilot's License. Check-out their website here.

Travel
I love traveling around the world, I have been to Africa, Asia, America, Europe and more. I have been an exchange student in Australia for 5 weeks and did my IQP (for WPI) in Hong Kong for 2 months.
